Our main character are all a race of Elves known as "Moon Elves" and are as follows:

Carad Naster (Brian's character), Remorinin Uteue (Carol's Character), Nehgweehsis (my character as an NPC-Non-Player Character).

Carad Nastar- Young Woodsman in training at their Village. Very adept at tracking, survival & wilderness skills.

Here's some interesting items he's discovered so far:

1)Masterwork Chainmail shirt, that seemed perfectly normal-& with no hint of magic detect despite efforts to do so. Donning said Chainmail Shirt, Carad was unable to remove it after about 1 month. Over the span of the next several weeks-months the shirt slowly "melded itself" under Carad's skin. He became increasingly protective of it, to the point of anger if the suggestion came up by the group to remove it. One day everyone woke,  and it seemed to be resting there between his muscles and skin. Which gives his frame a singular bizarre look at this point...which also produces varied responses from Humans, Elves, Dwarves, etc.

The shirt is of course Magical and now acts as a "natural armor bonus" since it is effectively part of his body now...

That's all that is known for now...and yes, he can wear another chain shirt over his other clothing with no issues since this Chainmail is now a "part" of his natural being...

2)Masterwork Broad sword...found at the time of the chain shirt, neither seemed to be magical..however, after arriving at the ELven village and the chain shirt totally melding with Carad's flesh....when the sword is picked up, Carad seems to hear a faint "white noise" in his head...he is unable to ascertain what this noise is and where it comes from....

Remorinin Uteue-

Remorinin is the Sister to Nehgweehsis (third character in party) and like him, an Orphan adopted by the entire village. At a young age, she was noted to have a "Natural" magic ability and liking... she was taken in by the Head Sorceress of the Village, living with her, doing chores, and learning the "Craft".

Here is a list of interesting items she has acquired:

1)Gold ring that says "The Fox seeks the Shadow" on the outside...the ring is known to have some type of effect on the wearer...of a transmutation nature...but unknown what it is....

Ring is also a "Ring of Friend Shielding" her brother, Nehgweehsis has the matching silver ring....she can shield him and he her...on command...however Newgweehsis is lost, supposedly on the Abyssal Plane of Occipitus....or in a Frozen Wasteland- Surrounded on all sides and beset by enemies... (a story yet to be explained here)

2)Sharkskin bolt quiver, emblem of a Daemon Demigod on it...taken from the Infernal Fiendish abominations of a race of underwater dwellers that were corrupted by.....????

Once a bolt has spent 24 hours in the quiver it will return within roughly 4 rounds if not severely damaged or broken

Masterwork Mithril Bracers. Made by the Elves of the village that our adventures rescued from their imprisonment (their very life essence was trapped within "Soul Bricks")....known to have been worn by a member of the Elven Armies that fought the Dark Elf War long long ago...each set were made specifically for the wearer and this set may have more unknown properties...only time will tell if the bracers "accept" Remorinin

Nehgweehsis-

He is the Brother to Remorinin and like her, was adopted by the entire village after the death of their parents. All members of the village contribute something, and at a young age, Nehgweehsis was discovered to be very hearty, strong, and resilient. He became an apprentice to the "Sewer Jacks" (as they are known in the human world) and helped in the cleanup, upkeep, etc of the village. Later, during their travels he worked for a time in the Sewer Jack Guild of the city of Northgate-and further increased his resiliency and other useful areas...its noted that few, if anything makes him sick, and he can withstand things with a pestilence nature, shrug off poisons, etc more so than others...

1) Silver Ring that says "Shadow of a Man, is the Man's Shadow" on the inside. This ring likewise has some magical properties, transmutation in nature? It is unclear.

The ring is a "Ring of Friend Shielding" & has been helpful (as far as the others know) to Nehgweehsis in his exile. It possibly has the same or similar attributes as the ring Remorinin wears (as they came in a set when found) but has yet to be discovered since Nehgweehsis' disappearance.

2) Masterworks Footman's Pick of a strange dark silverish unknown metal. This was taken from a Evil Sorceress of a race of Aquatic people that the group encountered and defeated as well as ruined the Aquatic's plans to spread a supernatural disease in Northgate..and in the process angering a Chaotic God... the Pick morphed over night after Negweehsis had used it for some time-from a squid-headed Mace to a footman's pick. Occassionaly, it has been noted to "disrupt" an enemy when struck and paralyze limbs or the entire enemy...

This Blog deals with an ongoing role-playing game between myself (in Albuquerque, NM) and my Great Friends, Brian and Carol Bentley (in Kentucky). We still play after all these years, its a fun time with friends...and hey, what more do you want? Since I moved to NM, we decided we should continue with RPG's & use Skype to do so.

The setting is a fantasy world, of our own making. Think a combo of Tolkien & Robert E Howard. Not quite 'High Fantasy", yet a little more that "Low Fantasy"... there is magic, yet it often comes with a price. We've got many of the standard fantasy style races. Humans of course, & Elves, Dwarves, Goblins (of various subspecies), Ogres & Giants, Gremlins (small little guys with thick leathery skin of scales/plates up to 3ft tall-very curious & always messing with new traps, wheel designs, gadgets, etc), there are various aquatic races/"fish men", dragons (not your standard-"Oh, its a dragon, let's kill it" type fair... you meet a dragon in this world-most or all of you will die).

What we DON'T have are Halflings (Yes I will apologize to some people) but I opted not to have them- a world different than Tolkien's. Also, there are NO "Orcs" per se. All are "Goblinoids" of some fashion... if you read 'The Hobbit", he speaks of only "goblins" then in the later trilogy there are "Orcs"... sure that can be debated for years... point is I like Goblins and they come in many, MANY different forms...

Why do this at all? Well, plainly to keep a record, to keep my friends updated and a quick area we can all access to see what's been going on, and for anyone else who like fantasy and RPG's....

Welcome to Our World...
